The 2016 Henderson County Free Fair will begin on Monday night, September 12th and continuing through Saturday night, September 17th. With many events throughout the week that include: Southern Wrestling featuring "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert, Jerry "The King" Lawler, local favorites The Groove Band, playing all your favorite country, rock and blues tunes. 

   

 

The Air Force Junior ROTC instructors and cadets at Lexington High School earned an overall unit score of "Exceeds Standards" for their recent unit evaluation by Air Force Major Don Bailey. Major Bailey is in charge of evaluating 150 high school AFJROTC units in the Southeastern United States. The score of "Exceeds Standards" is the highest rating attainable by a AFJROTC unit. Congratulations to all of our cadets and their instructors, Col. Michael Goolsby and Sgt. Eric Kocke!
