Representatives from Lexington and Henderson County were available for a presentation of the Governor’s ThreeStar Award sign. (L-R) Lexington Mayor David Jowers, Chamber Director Kim Douglass, TDEC Representative Chelsea Wallace, and County Mayor Hughes. County Mayor, Dan Hughes, says that the new sign designating Henderson County as one of the Governor’s ThreeStar communities will be prominently placed on the north side of the courthouse, where traffic through Hwy 412/Church Street will give it high visibility with travelers. The 2017 Henderson County Free Fair will kick off, Monday September 11th starting at 6pm. There will be many great activities for all ages with some tasteful food for everyone to enjoy, along with various pageants, contests, and games.. Come out and enjoy our Free Fair!
